Carnelian Intaglio Wax Seal FobThe Story: European wax seal from the late 19th century. The intaglio depicts a crest with four diamond shapes and a two headed dragon. Small bits of red and black wax remain in the seal you can take them out if you like, but I would keep them if I were you. The Details: Tests as 14k gold. Ornate flourishes to gold stone surround. Length: 3. 25cm Weight: 8. 88 grams Condition: Good antique condition. Top of fob slopes slightly to one side.
