Ladder Back Rocker 2022Currently being shown by I. M. Weiss Gallery in Detroit, MI. All wooden parts, excluding the rockers, are white ash sourced from a single tree on a neighboring farm. Rocker material is white ash sourced from a local specialty sawyer. All parts are hand split from fresh logs using wedges and axes. The posts, rungs, seat rails and arm rests are turned on a lathe and finished by hand with a spokeshave. The arm rests are further hand carved. The back
